Classic Burger With Brooklyn Beast
Ingredients:
1 ½ pounds ground beef (80% lean)
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
8 slices American cheese
4 Brooklyn Beast buns, split in half horizontally
Sliced tomatoes, for topping
Sliced red onion, for topping
Green leaf lettuce, for topping
Ketchup, mustard, for serving
Directions:
Divide meat into 4 portions about 6 ounces each. Form into patties and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
Preheat a grill on high. Grill the burgers until golden brown and slightly charred, about 3 minutes on the first side. Flip and cook until golden brown and charred, about 3 minutes. Add cheese slices and cook for 1 additional minute for medium-rare.
Sandwich the burgers between buns and top with desired toppings and condiments.
